Situated beside the Ibis at M1 Junction 18, the Crick development brings a modern petrol filling station and a mix of convenience and food-to-go brands to a high-traffic logistics corridor. The scheme improves everyday amenity for drivers and the local community with a SPAR convenience store and drive-thru/quick-serve offers including Greggs, Subway and Starbucks.
AKN Build delivered end-to-end civils and coordinating works across the live, multi-plot site—sequencing utilities, drainage, and external works to support phased openings for the filling station, convenience store and QSR units. Activities included groundworks, forecourt infrastructure interfaces, car-park formation, kerbs and surfacing, and integration with brand standards and signage packages.
